Hi From Mississauga

Post by Anesh »

Hi,

Well I think its about time I say hi to all of you. Ive been an Xterra owner for about 8 months now, love it.. I have lots of projects in mind for my X, for now its pretty much stock, with a SL from Calmini on the way. I would love to have some help from the members in this clubs. Specially if you live in the Mississauga/Oakville area, will be great to meet and talk truk stuff, since none of my friends are interested in the 4x4 world... I need some off road partners...

About me, My name is Andres, Im 24, came to Canada about 6 years ago, Im originally from Venezuela (where theres tons of off roading). Studied Audio Engineering here and now I work in the entertainment industry as a Sound Engineer doing in lots of festivals, concerts, parties, corp events, etc... Love the outdoors world, cant stand the "office job"... Fishing, camping, excursions, adventure trips, boating, partying, music, guitar,... love all that...

Why did I get an Xterra?.... well one day I was driving on my old Ford Escort on the 401 by Yorkdale Mall, there was a little bit of traffic... I turned arround and I looked on the next lane and this Monster Yellow Xterra equipped with all the toys appeared right beside me :o (Probably from someone in here)... and thats when I said, "I want that bad ass truck".. worked hard and 2 years later I got the chance to buy my very own Yellow Xterra... 2001, V6, 4x4. Had about 150,000Km. in good condition... Since then Ive been reading forums (CX, CNTC mostly) and looking other Xterras to learn what mods I want to include in my Xterra project and make it one bad ass X ready for any type of roads out there  ...

I havent really put my Xterra to the test, Ive done some minor off roading with it that any car can do it... but i think here is the right place to get more off road action, experience, and fun... Cheerz :) :)

Welcome to the club! You chose the best possible colour ever!

Just a heads up, you should start thinking about a timing belt change if it hasn't been done already ;)
