Someone else had this issue as well, can't remember who it was, but it was someone on the board.

Relatively easy fix all things considered. Still sucks though!

Yea, it's simple to fix. Just a quick welding job. It's just a small set back, but if this keeps up, she may not make the rookie run. Got lots to do, and no time!!

I believe its the sway bar links causing the problem. Since they installed those metal cups that hold the bushing there is no give from the bushing. It causes more strain on the sway bar link points This problem only seems to happen with the xterras that have those type of sway bar links. I would switch them with the TRW's from part source.

Front sway bar has to stay on...gotta maintain a little bit of road manners. The rear however will be removed.

By law, you have to have a front SB. Disco-ing won't do anything for us IFS guys anyway.

Took my steering apart after work yesterday. A little check-up on it and cleaning. Was pleasantly surprised to find the whole thing slid apart easily, and there is little to no wear on the CL master bolts. In fact, the original gold colour of the grade 8 bolt is still on them! There is a little slop in the IA bushings, but the custom build is holding up perfect :)

And yes Simon, it does have gussets!

I have to find time now for the long list of parts that need to be installed - headers, exhaust, new UCAs, front shocks, new skidderz! Timing belt is coming up, too.

Dont mean to go against the grain, but the whole idea of the SB is to limit articulation whats an IFS if the wheels cant move independently. I have quick disconnects on mine SB flips up out of the way and It is like night a day going through the trails. But the body roll is a bit much on the road, I would hate to do an emergency maneuver at highways speeds without it.

Yep, on yours it'll make a difference. ON the WD22, it makes nearly none. There's almost no front suspension travel anyways. I've had it off, and on, and noticed no difference on the trail.

I'm no jeep expert or anything, but shouldn't there be some metal of some description where that giant hole in the floor is? Or is that a "trail self-guidance facilitation portal"?

Was suppose to take part in a rally which was a trip that i was saving for to do for my summer leave, but I didn't get accepted in, so instead, ordered some more parts for the truck!
- Revolver Shackles
- Low profile bump stops
- Torsion bars
- Rancho RS9000XL's (yep, I went that way)
- Diff Drop Kit

Should be ordering SLR UCA's soonish
