Changes to the Admin team

Post by Simon »

For those who didn't attend AW, and/or to clarify what we announced there....

The time has come for Carri and I to take a step back from the club. We've been slacking in our duties as club admin, and we've only done the bare minimum (if that, at times) to keep things running. We no longer have the time, energy and motivation we once did to run the club at the level you all deserve. So we're passing the torch, so to speak.

With that said, Morpheus is joining the Admin team, and will take over from Carri and myself in terms of club direction from a "live" standpoint. He has been an excellent ambassador to the club with OF4WD over the years, and has been a huge supporter of all things CNTC both personally, and through his role at Milton Nissan. He's got the energy, dedication and drive to take the club to new levels and to boost participation and member involvement, which are areas the club has been sorely lacking.

Carri and I will stay on as Admins, but in a secondary role. We'll continue to assist in any way we can, but with Mike now cracking the whip. The site and forum will continue as they always have, but having Mike take over the club from a live standpoint will mean more activity, more events, more wheeling, and a better idea of what the club needs/wants.

Thanks for all your continued support over the years. We've always been very proud of this club, it's members, and their asshattery. With Mike at the helm, I see no reason for that to change.

Will you continue to trip over the extension cord every now and then?

Thank you Carri and Simon! I still hope we get to see you at meets.

I'm going to try to do my best.

Carri and Simon will, as they have said, still be here.

I'll try to keep the place in order, sweep the floor when needed, etc..

The club is a joint effort too, and I don't mean moderators. It's nothing without it's members.

We all need to contribute in our own little way, that's the recipe for success.

Morphy, you're going to be great. All the past Administrators have done a great job. How do I know? This club is still here. How long has it been?12 years? Thanks to the past, current and future moderators. It's always a good time. :happydance:
