Lifting my X
I just bought a 2.5" lift, front spacers and rear AAL.
When I install the spacers I will have to re-align the front end. Will I have to buy cam bolts as well? It's an 06' Xterra so I think the factory bolts are non adjustable. Is that right?
If so, I might as well buy them now before the kit gets here.
Some one should know.
Thanks

Yes you will have to buy cam bolts. The stock ones are not adjustable, as you've said.
Any of the guys with the lifts have had to buy them if I remember correctly.

Re: Lifting my X
Got my cam bolts today, I just went to Nissan and got em, they were $74 bucks plus washers which were $19 and change. Now I just have to wait for my lift to arrive and I'm ready to roll. Hopefully I can reuse the existing nuts.

Re: Lifting my X
I didnt know that cam bolts dont come in the set in canada 4X ( bolt, 2 washers, nut ) I got mine from US all together.
Get new nuts too. In my case bolts didnt wanna come out on their own and nuts got damaged by using air hammer on them.

If you have nothing good to say don't say anything at all.

Re: Lifting my X
The bolts themselves have a washer face on them, but they didn't include the washer for the opposite side (probably a stealership thing). As for the nuts, I'll see how it goes....I can get nuts from the stock room at work.rush356 wrote:I didnt know that cam bolts dont come in the set in canada 4X ( bolt, 2 washers, nut ) I got mine from US all together.
