Timbren Bump Stops order for 2005-08 Xterra with Lift

Post by X-Treme »

I will be ordering a set of Timbren bump stops for the rear of the truck. With the longer travel shocks I'm noticing the occasional buttoming out being absorbed by the shocks and not the factory bump stops which are now too short.

Anyone with a 2005 to 2008 lifted Xterra who would also like to order a set let me know and I'll put an order in for you as well. Who knows if I get enough orders I might be able to get a bit of a deal.

Cost from Action Van & Truck World in Scarborough is $210.08

FYI, these will work wonders on a stock height X as well. We have a few members on the CXQ that got them, and the all love them.
To lift, or not to lift? What a stupid question...

In the past we have used these on the front of 3/4 ton plow trucks to keep the front ends up and straight. Highly recommended and probably something I will add if/when I start trailering regularly.

I was quoted $185 front and $202 rear for the Titan so $210 doesn't seem to far off. They might give you a deal if you mention the club, do a group buy or if I call them :-) .

That's an excellent price. Do you know where, could you ask?

The best price I've been able to find, and this is from the USA, is $195. I may as well just buy them here.

Shop is called "DRIVE PRODUCTS", located Ville St-Laurent (west end of Montreal). Phone # is 514-856-0407 and part # is "JRC01". They usually don't have them in stock but can get them within a few days. On aug 29, they were going for 152.63$ plus taxes...

Hope this helps. ;)

Yeah, Carri found the thread on CXQ and IM'd the link to me. DRIVE PRODUCTS has a Toronto office as well I can call but I decided to see if my brother, who works for a heavy equipment supply company can get them as well. He said Timbren is a parts supplier they've used and is in their system so I'm just waiting to see what the part is going to cost going through him if he can get it.

I'd love to join the order but they are a bit pricey and I have some other upgrades in mind for the time being...
You are smart if you believe only one half of what you hear. You're a genius if you know which half that should be.
