Panty Hose are a good insulator, and a good fashion item as well. :teeth: Never know when one might have to get dollied up if you end up in the ditch ;)

I've heard that you can also substitute the hose for a fan belt in a pinch, but I have never actually seen anyone do it.

Remind me to keep on driving if I ever come upon your truck in the ditch Eric...

The thought of you in pantyhose, well, lets just not go there. :squeam:

I think the p.hose for a fan belt is an older fix - have my doubts it would work with a serpentine system.

I'm looking for a good cooler. I'd like a large one with dry storage. Any suggestions?

I have seen a sander, normally designed to run two v-belts, run all night on three pairs of XL pantyhose. If you can get them tight enough they will get you through. For serpentine use I would consider bypassing unnecessary items like the AC compressor.

Went to MEC (Mountain Equipment Co-Op) in downtown Toronto yesterday and picked up a few fun things.

New duffle bag.

Here is my wife in her new -7 to 20 degree sleeping bag (because she gets cold in August). Foregive the goofy face.

Our dog Spike decided he was going to check out the bag when we discovered that you can unzip the bottom.

Here is a new Pelican case for our Rebel XSI camera. I like it!

Some pots and pans were needed.

A fanny pack for the wife that holds two water bottles

A small pack for me to hold essentials while hiking.

wonder if mine would do that...mine you, there wouldn't be much room left for me at 110 lbs.

Ya Spike weights 18 pounds so he doesn't take up much room.
