Hello Old Friends!!!!! Murano advice???

Post by superchargedx »

Hey everyone,

I have not been here in a while since I sold my X  I hope the new owner (opensailor)has ben treating her as well as I did! Would love to see some pics :)

Life has been busy for me and my family!! I am still sluggin in the shop at Mazda, my wife has started her own business "Wee Piggies & Paws Milton" and my two little ones Belle & Max are getting bigger by the minute of course :teeth:
P.S. Fell free to check out the wifes website www.weepiggies.com

Hope everyone here has been doing well and I must admit it feels kinda nice to stop back in for a visit!

The question at hand here is as follows.....
We are looking to bust the lease on our 2009 Subaru Impreza ( which we love ) for something with more room, gadgets, etc.. but on a semi budget & previously owned.
As a Mazda tech, I know the ins & outs of the CX7 (possibly what scares me, lol) and is an option but...... I also quite like the looks, engine, interior of the Murano's.
Looking to spend 20k or less so open to multiple years... My main question is the reliability, etc of these vehicles!
Im sure a few of you on here know the Murano's inside and out and was hoping that I could get some good advice on what to look for/stay away from on these.

Thanks in advance everyone,

Sean

No first hand experience but have previously rec'd advice to avoid first couple of model years. With your budget I am guessing that is a non issue. G/L

My aunt had a Murano, got expensive to fix and started to need it often, so they got rid of it.

No first hand experience with the Murano, boss has one and if you can do the work yourself there no worse then average to own. When we were shopping for SUVs the CX7 was near the top of our list....the Murano was too small to make the list.
