The door locks have pin tumblers. They can be replaced at will.
All you need to to is take the c-clip off the end of he lock and replace them with the right height tumblers. Any locksmith can do this.

Alternatively you can usually take it apart, clean any corrosion, and put it back together.

Will have to try to take it apart and hopefully not mix up the pins :o
