Titan tow hooks

So I'm sick of the crappy stock open tow hooks on the front of my titan. Does anyone have anything better or know of anything better?

Whats the mount side look like? We have a bunch of various sized clevis's and hooks at work rusting out, pretty sure we got them from HD supply

The Nissan brush guard replaces the stock tow hooks with a cast lower mount that includes "eyelets" for recovery. They are fairly stout pieces but I often rub them on approach to "step type" obstacles.

I liked the stock hooks as they accept straps quickly and without shackles. This speeds recovery and avoid shackles that can become projectiles. Before swapping the stock hooks for the the brush guard eyelets I "tested" the hooks fairly severely with the help of Northern Feller, they showed zero signs of bending cracking, or of even being used.

Per the LEE site these are a Nissan part, with applicable Nissan warranty so I assume Nissan felt there was a need for them. Being a fairly heavy cast part I don't feel the pricing is out of line, and this is definitely not an item I'd cheap out on.



Side note - If you replace your's I'd be interested in your stock hooks.

I'm still very undecided about these. There's some other projects I have planned for the front end and I'm not sure how they're going to fit into them. If I decide to go with something else the stock ones are yours Miner.
