2003 Tire / Wheel size

Post by MartinToronto »

Hi everyone!

Got a small problem... Just got a set of Michelin X-Ice 265/70R16 in almost new condition (DOT 2913 - used only for one short winter!) - Problem is the tires came from a 2010 Xterra... Different bolt spacing 114.3 X 6

My question is, hopefully someone can lend an answer, will a 2002 Pathfinder alloy rim fit on a 2003 Xterra? The bolt spacing is 139.7 x 6, same as Xterra. Any other problems? Or is it a direct swap?

Any cheap and good places in Toronto for tire mounting and balancing?

ANY help will be greatly appreciated!

I can't remember if the hub size is the same for 2002, at some point they changed.

Iirc xterra wheels will fix on a pathfinder.
Pathfinder wheels will NOT fit on an xterra.

The bolt pattern is the same, but the xterra had the 4x4 auto hub on the front. The centre bore is too small.

Welcome to CNTC!!!!
I use 03 xterra rims on an 02 pathy but don't know if that helps.

Mike, are you thinking of the LE pathfinder rims which have a smaller centre bore than the XE/SE rims? The non LE rims can use warn manual hubs so I assumed they were the same as the xterra? Maybe I'm wrong.

the 16" wheels from the Pathfinder should fit your X. The only ones where center bore is any issue is the 17" wheels.

That's the missing link I was thinking of.

He said in one sentence what I was trying to say. The LE wheels are 17" with small centre bore. I know, I bought warn hubs and they no fitz.
