Hey Dudu Tiger Hidden Dragon, I'm glad you are back safely friend. When you get a chance can you let Gary know that you went back home for a few months? Thanks man, I don't want the kid to worry.

Re: Welcome Back Duducus Ducklington!!!
Thank you for the warm welcome, guys... I really appreciate it. Since I came back to Canada,I haven't really got the chance to go online till today.
Anyway, just a little update:
I went back to Singapore to visit my friends and family back home and its been three years since I got back. While I was there, I applied to the States for college and got accepted to College for Creative Studies, Detroit. Its one of the better ones that offer transportation design. Anyway, to cut long story short, I got my visa and all that at the end of August and got back to Canada on August 29th, 2010. I picked the pathy up that night and on the next day, I was busy packing my stuff from the old house and did some errands. On August 31st, I spent the morning moving things from my old apartment to my friend's and in the afternoon, I drove down to Detroit. I was thinking of waving at Jon and Sherri at Windsor, but Samantha (my gps) took me through 402 Sarnia towards Port Huron. I've been staying in the hotel until today since that day. I have been busy with orientation, house-hunting, and setting up accounts for insurance, bank account, cell phone number, etc. And without social securioty number, its very very difficult because I've to keep explaining my circumstances to them.
All in all, I am missing the Adventure Weekend this year. I'm trying to settle down before school starts on Tuesday. I'm planning on attending the christmas party that probably falls on American thanksgiving. I still very much like to go for the coffee meet and wheeling weekend, things that I can't do here. They have Tims down in Detroit, but they don't have Steeped Tea and the Boston Cream donuts are cold and oily (Tried that yesterday). I haven't had that many friends in the area, but I hope that will change soon. Being alone in the apartment/ hotel in the evening knowing ya new to everything sucks, hahahhaa...

Re: Welcome Back Duducus Ducklington!!!
As for the pathy, I think it doesn't like the highway in the States. THe speed limit is 70 mph and with the tolerance, I can probably go up to 180 mph or about 130 km/h. At that speed, especially on the curves or in windy situation, everything seems falling apart. I don't think anyone will want to steal that either. According to the talk given by the Security personnels in my school, people here like to steal Chrysler products for no reason. As well, they like to steal the spare tire at the back of the SUV, but they don't like to steal anything with stick transmission. At school, in Detroit, I got to park in the enclosed parking garage with 24/.7 surveillance and I live about 30 miles off Detroit in a much safer area. Lastly, people here drive imports. The ratio of domestic to japanese/import vehicles are probably 9:1...
Anyway, thanks a lot for the warm welcome!!! I really appreciate that and its something really totally unexpected. I'll try to stay on the board more often and I really hope to make it for the year-end Christmas party!!!

PFFT! Throw that GPS away!!! How dare it not make you come through Windsor! PFFT! Always remember - We are only 1 mile NORTH of Exit 13 of the 401!!!!!!!!!dududuckling wrote:I was thinking of waving at Jon and Sherri at Windsor, but Samantha (my gps) took me through 402 Sarnia towards Port Huron.
WTF! DuDu! We are in your area bud! Now that we have our passports we can go to the States more often. We even picked up our ORV (Off Road Vehicle) permit while we were camping up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan which allows us to Off Road in some of the parks in Michigan.dududuckling wrote:I still very much like to go for the coffee meet and wheeling weekend, things that I can't do here.
