NEED TO FIND NTB11-064A repair procedure

Post by fleurys »

I tried all the tricks I know to find this recall campain bulletin concerning the strut tower rust problem for the 96-04 pathfinders. It used to be available on the net but now it seems I get hit with a 404 each time I try to access it. I can only see preview of page one from cached copies of google now.... :thumbdown:

anyone has this pdf : RCRIT-11V244-1111.pdf saved locally anywhere ? I'm looking for this cause I want to know the part number for the repair kit (plate) and products they use.... etc....

Thanks.

I saved a copy of the PDF.

Would be easier to just bring your truck to Nissan though. They cannot just take your truck if they say it is non repairable. Mine was declared non repairable and gave me the choice of keeping it or selling it to them.

Will see about pulling out the file out of my archives anyway.

well I wasn't sure... I've read conflicting stories. I think I even saw a post from morpheus here saying that they received the mandate to keep the truck if it was deamed unrepairable.......right here : http://www.cntc.ca/phpBB3/viewtopic.php ... cal#p58287" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

that's why I,m a little nervous about this....

By law they cannot just take your truck. It is your property and if they say for some reason they are going to keep it, you just call the cops and you get your truck back. Plus since you are in Quebecistan, there are added consumer protection laws so I could not see them just taking it without getting in a lot of trouble. I got way more than market value with my truck and was allowed to take off pretty much anything I wanted so I was happy.

Unless it looks pretty bad on your truck I wouldn't be worried. But naturally it is up to you. Wouldn't be too hard to fix yourself if you don't want to take the chance. I installed a plate on the passengers side last year.

Will find a place to upload the file and will post a link to it tomorrow. Or give me your email address and I will email it to you (it is about 1.8MB).
