Newb from ottawa here!
Hi there, my name's Adam and i have a 95 pathfinder XE and a 93 pathfinder SE with all the options. The 93 has a rusted frame but the 95 is great. Love being able to drive in all weather conditions!
I know Pezzy, Nige and Simon from npora. Hopefully there are some more Nissan enthusiasts here in Ottawa, as I seem to be the only one where I live.
Hope to meet some interesting people around here. <---- that is a sweet emote.

Welcome aboard Adam, if you know Pez,Simon and Nige then there probably isn't much you don't know about CNTC. You are not alone in the east. Sgt.B and Jayman are around frequently from the Capital and I am from Smiths Falls. We jokingly refer to ourselves as the eastern chapter. Good to have another lad aboard from the Ottawa area.

Re: Newb from ottawa here!
Thanks. I actually live like half an hour away from smiths falls. I live just south of the city in Kemptville. But I go to Algonquin college in Ottawa, and I used to live with my dad on Queen Elizabeth drive and Elgin street, that area in the summer. So I'm in the city ALL the time. Great place to drive an suv eh?
It gets boring here, real fast, and hopefully soon my parents will be buying a house with more than just a one car garage. That is so I can bring my 93 home (it's in storage right now) and restore it for a sweet spring summer fall DD and make my 95 the winter DD and light wheeler (nothing too intense for me!)

Oh man.....my arm's gonna hurt from ing you on 2 boards!
Welcome to CNTC. You should think about coming down for Adventure Weekend on Labour Day weekend. It's an amazing time, and there are a couple of stock friendly trails.

Welcome abored Adam, always nice to see another member from O-town.
I'm out in Orleans (East ender) but that doesn't stop me from driving all over Hell's half acre to get to work and back everyday, in my Xterra. The mileage sucks, but what can you do?
So, I guess we are going to have to have an Eastern Chapter Coffee meet one of these days eh?

That sounds like a good idea but things might be tight as school for me starts the next day!Welcome to CNTC. You should think about coming down for Adventure Weekend on Labour Day weekend. It's an amazing time, and there are a couple of stock friendly trails.
Well taking the bus isn't an option lol. To OC transpoI'm out in Orleans (East ender) but that doesn't stop me from driving all over Hell's half acre to get to work and back everyday, in my Xterra. The mileage sucks, but what can you do?

Yes we should do that sometime. I've seen a few built Nissan's 3 wd21 pathfinders, one had 35 inch tires on it! Also I saw a built Xterra with a winch and all that at Algonquin college. It was really clean, so whether it was wheeled or not I don't know. Every time I see one they're always driving by on the opposite side of the road...

Re: Newb from ottawa here!
Sounds like we may need to organize an Eastern Chapter coffee meet soon.
Licks is out of business. EOTB used to have their Bings and Weer at Monkey Joes - it's relatively central, and has a decent sized parking lot. I'm open to other suggestions as well...
Weekends are bad for us B's, but if I can organize something on a school-night, would any particular evening be better/worse for anybody? I'll crack open a new thread if there's enough interest.
Welcome aboard, Newb!

School doesn't start for me till sept 02. It doesn't really matter what night either. But if it is during school, I have a class that runs till 8 or 9 twice a weekSgt_B wrote:Sounds like we may need to organize an Eastern Chapter coffee meet soon.

Monkey joes is on Carling right? That'd be cool beans with me if you guys wanna organize something.
I may have to start a thread in the garage if I can't find something similar to my problem with my path. The noises my front suspension is making are really starting to concern me I just hope nothing flies apart on the road!

Yep. Jay is the master. He's the gent who's helped me with both my truck's frames (granted, Old Red was too far gone by the time he touched it) and he (with little help from me) built my rear bumper/tire carrier, and relocated my ARB.adamzan wrote:Welder extraordinaire eh?
