In need of a good welding guy
I am faced with a delema. I am going away next month and need to buy a decent jack to jack the x up in case of a flat. A decent jack that will do this is 150$ . I have tried others and they wont reach. So i thought, hey good excuse to get rock slidders except i dont wanna spend the 400 + that shrock wants. So is there anybody that makes theses for around 200?

Send a PM to Bender. He makes sliders, both Shrock style, and simpler 2x4 shaped ones. They're quality stuff, and it shouldn't break the bank, depending on steel costs. The only caveat may be that he may not have time.

Nathan,
I was in Princess Auto not too long ago and noticed they had a sale on RV scissor jacks. I didn't give it too much thought until now but it maybe an option for you. I'm not sure if it will lift your truck up enough while it's under the frame but maybe it would work under the rear diff or front cross member with a jack stand for safe measure. The minimum height is 4" for storage and max is 24". You could always bring it back if it didn't work for you.

Just a thought for last minute needs.
